This is the most relatable resurrection I’ve read in weeks. Ceiling collapse, heat dome, and tech-lich overlords—honestly, it’s a miracle you’re still vertical, let alone writing. But your resilience is as unhinged as it is admirable.

Also: When He Calls Your Name is a riot. You’ve got this gift for disguising biting commentary as gleeful chaos, and it works. Hard. Loved the twist, loved the tone, and yes—laughed a very minor organ loose.

Looking forward to the finale of Move Fast and Break People. Take your time. Some of us are still recovering from the last chapter.

Your posts as well as others subscribed to don't show up in my notes/feed, although liking recent posts. Substack's chat gives nonsensical answers.

Very, _very_, nice story. I’ve said it before, I’ll no doubt say it again: you have a genius for fitting voice to narrative and character.

Screeching left turn: the phrase “tech-lich overlords” reminded me of the Red King, the immortal skeleton-lawyer in Max Goldstone’s Craft Sequence. Those techno-assholes would be delighted to be him.

Recommendation: combine showers with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap. VERY refreshing in summer.
