I loved Osmo so much that I don’t have words to tell you how much I loved it

...except the above which I wedged into a shape I stole from an upstart crow.

Thank you so much, it really means so much to me. Poor book was abandoned before it ever came out.

No chance of there being a movie then huh? 😔 It would make great one.

I’m not understanding how Osmo isn’t getting the acclaim it deserves. It was a terrific Children’s book and Heath’s narration of the audiobook was also fabulous. I guess I’m going to start gifting it more.

Essentially, the publisher entirely abandoned it for reasons unknown to me. I'm probably not allowed to say that, but at this point, whatever. Without publicity, few things succeed. An award nomination is about its only chance at this point unless someone very famous indeed stumbles across it somehow.

I’m grateful to authors I like for pointing out eligible works. I didnt participate in last year’s Hugo nominations and was very surprised to see the absolutely dreadful “Light From Uncommon Stars” by Ryka Aoki in the final five for best novel. I can only think it was a rent-a-crowd job, despite the major revamp of the rules a few years ago.

As a reader I xan still relate to how it can be weird to do self promotion. Hey give yourself a break. You wirk hard to create things and have very right to be proud of that IMO. I love your books.

Does your Hugos dress count as a Related Work?

I don't think so, but if it did, that would have to be my son Sebastian and my friend Cylia's nomination as he dressed me head to foot and she did my hair and makeup! I was just a dolly.
